GEN CIVIT NICOM pagan civic issue
« on: April 14, 2016, 10:36:19 AM »
Though worn, this is a fairly rare type recently offered on Vcoins.

It was issued by Maximinus II during the Great Persecution of Christians. The mintmark OPA is unique and scholars do not know the meaning or significance.
