I just won these two...ex Dr. Jacob Terner

 


Maximian Ӕ Follis. Contemporary imitation of the Treveri mint, AD 296-297. IMP MAXIMIANVS P AVG, laureate and cuirassed bust to right / GENIO POPVLI ROMANI (sic), Genius standing to left, modius on head, holding patera and cornucopiae; B(retrograde)-Γ across fields; TR in exergue. For possible prototype, cf. RIC VI 183b. 10.14g, 27mm, 12h.


 


Constantius I, as Caesar, Ӕ Follis. Contemporary imitation of the London mint, AD 297. FL V CONSTANTIVS NOB L C, laureate head to right / GENIO POPVLI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, modius on head, holding patera and cornucopiae. For possible prototype cf. RIC VI 32. 10.87g, 28mm, 10h.
