The author of RIC, Patrick Bruun, mentions this coin in the footnotes-- "Some coins not with star but with dot in exergue, the dot most likely intended for a star." He noted examples from every workshop except B; which Speck and Huston in Constantine's Dafne Coinage noted a coin from officina 'B'. So, these coins are known from all the workshops and must be a separate issue after RIC VII Constantinople 38

Over the years I have even had examples from each workshop, though this is my only current one; but it is much nicer than the others.

Constantine I

Nice coin but the price was also unusually high for this type.

I don't think that 280 euros was unusually high...a little pricey; but it was what the market dictated.

Market goes where a few people want it goes. And recently it is going high IMHO
