ID/Info on Bronze CONSTAN Coin

Hello all! My eldest has shown an increasing interest in Roman history lately and I thought a coin might be a fun gift. Unfortunately, I don't know anything and the coin didn't come with any information.

The most relevant info I could find ia possibly from Era of Heirs of Constantine. There is a legible CONSTAN on the obverse, not much else I could make out as other letters are off the edge of the coin; the reverse is worn but looks like two victories.

I'd greatly appreciate any and all information on whether it is an authentic coin. 😊

Your coin is authentic and is Constans (the obverse legend is CONSTANS P F AVG) , a son of Constantine I. It is from the mint of Aquileia struck A.D. 347- 348. The reverse is VICTORIAE D D AVGG Q N N; Two Victories standing facing each other, each holding wreath upward. The reverse translates as "Victory of our Lord Emperors"
