Severus II GENIO POPVLI ROMANI from Antioch
« on: August 26, 2019, 09:02:15 AM »
The ANT dot over dot issue is not in RIC VI, but several other sources including Voetter list it. There were nine examples for Severus (#3981- 9) noted in King and Spaer "A Hoard of Folles from Northern Sinai", Numismatic Chronicle 1977; though none from workshop H. On a side note, this article was exactly why I got a copy of NC 1977, so it is nice to actually get to use it.

Several examples on Lech's page-
