Unlisted Constantine I bust type, campgate, Arles?
« on: December 15, 2018, 10:49:38 AM »
Hi all,

I recently managed to acquire this worse for wear campgate. As far as I can tell, it is unlisted and the same as http://www.forumancientcoins.com/notinric/7arl-286-3.html.

Constantine I 325-326AD
CONSTAN-TINVS AVG
Laureate, draped, cuirassed
PROVIDEN-TIAE AVGG
Campgate, 6 layers, 2 turrets, star above
PA crescent RL
RIC VII Arles 286 var bust
19mm, 2.8g

Is this a laurate and cuirassed bust or is it also draped?

This is the third example on my page. Bust is obviously cuirassed only.
