Constantius II campgate from Arles
« on: February 23, 2018, 03:15:31 PM »
I bid on this lot in the last Numismatik Naumann auction because of the unlisted Constantius II campgate in the center. I suspect others noticed it also as the lot sold for $349.00

Here is an older post that is relevant to these campgates from Arles.

Did you manage to get the lot? I've noticed the last few months that campgates (and in general LRB's) have been going for much higher prices than I was used to.

Yes, I got the lot; which I regret now. I will have a hard time selling these and making a profit. I will need to price the campgate around $175-200; and will probably still lose out. I got overly-excited about the campgate.  :P

I understand what it feels like to get over-excited for a campgate :)
