Carus MONETA medallion

I don't remember seeing this fake before.

He is still trying to sell this fake; but has dropped the price to $400. I messaged him that this is a reproduction and he can see an example on Forgery Network

This seller is equal parts stupid and greedy. After telling him it was a fake and he could check forgerynetwork.com, he responded "PAID BIG MONEY FOR IT DAMN" We obviously have different concepts of big money. If he is selling it for $400, it means the "big money" price was less. I told him that genuine examples sell for four figures. He then responded "SJRE LOOKS ANCIENT IN THE HAND" and relisted it.
