Constantine I VIRT EXERCIT GALL from Rome

I won this example below and went to my site to copy and paste a description for a flip, when I noticed several differences that I missed due to over reliance on copying and pasting.

'Constantine I. AD 307_310-337. Æ Half Follis (21mm, 3.32 g, 11h). Rome mint, 3rd officin_'.jpg


here was the description "Virtus, standing left, head right, holding reversed spear and parazonium."

except sometimes the spear is not reversed (on some examples there is not even a pointy bit)

and sometimes Virtus is looking left...and holding the spear pointy side up

anyway, long story short, always remember to "look" at your coins. Even the parazoniums look different on the examples above.
