On some Constantinopolis coins from Arles there are branches on the reverse. These are commonly described as being in the field; but it looks as if they are actually on the prow of the galley, not merely in the field. It's a small detail, but I thought it worth bringing up. Maybe they only look like they are on the galley due to placement as they are bigger than other items found on the Arles types like chi-rho's or stars, or maybe they look like they are on the prow because they were meant to be on the galley.

I have this one from Arles and a second, somewhat similar, from Trier. The palm branch from Trier is floating in the field, well away from the galley. The complicated branch from Arles seems not to connect to the galley. The foot of Victory is in the way.
