the Crispus from Lyon is not in RIC

Yes, of course Crispus would see the unlisted Crispus.  :D


It is unlisted in RIC for the cuirassed bust, but should come after #203, which is draped and cuirassed. Bastien lists one example- #161


The middle coin, Constantine II from London, is also not in RIC, though it is actually fairly common. It is a seen from the rear bust and should come after London 253. It is in LMCC as 9.06.026. As for how common it is, from the London book-- “This coin type was first recorded in Cae Bardd (Hoard) 646- 670. However, this type is relatively plentiful and it is difficult to see why it was not recorded in RIC.”
