Post by: Nikko on March 08, 2016, 03:18:51 PM
A farley rare coin i recently added to my collection.

Constantine I Æ Follis. Trier, AD 313-5. IMP CONSTANTINVS AVG, bare head right / FVNDAT PACIS, Mars nude, helmeted, advancing right, looking left, chlamys flying, dragging captive by hair, trophy across left shoulder, PTR in ex. RIC 61.

Please note that the captive is standing right, not seated as on the FUNDAT PACIS coins from Rome mint.

Sometimes the captive from Rome is in the exact posture. Most often though, the captive is kneeling.
