Coin is:
AURELIAN AE18mm 2.49g Antoninian pre reform
AV: IMP AVRELIANVS AVG; radiate, cuirassed bust r.
REV: DACIA FELIX; Dacia stg. l., holding draco, the dacian war flag in r. hand.
EXE: S
REF: LV 1557; RIC V-1 108var (unlisted for cuirassed only bust type) RIC Online #1384 second officina, Mediolanum mint, December 270 â€" January 271AD.
This is a scarce, brief and historical issue, marking the recapture of Dacia province from germanic tribes. This restoration was shortlived though, as by the middle of 271, the Transdanubian territories that had already been demilitarized by Gallienus were evacuated and the population moved south of the Danube in a new Dacia province with Serdica as its capital.
