Well, this bust type is very difficult to determine from this picture.

The most common is B4 (draped and cuirassed)
RIC VII ROME 27 (https://www.nummus-bible-database.com/rechercher-une-monnaie.htm?page=1&personnages=12&ateliers=17&collections=&vendeurs=&motscles=&numric=28&numnbd=&legendes=&nombreResultats=10&btRechercher=Rechercher)

But I can't exclude also very rare bust B5 (cuirassed only, I believe I have never seen this one) or even B3 (seen from back)

Yes, the bust type is not clear.

However, the LDC busts seem to always show a small riveted (neck guard?) cuirass piece/attachment diagonally at the back/base of the neck, which for some reason isn't shown on the LC busts, and I don't see it on this one, so maybe LC?

Now I see B3. Possible?

Yes!

That would seem to make most sense of that straight line across the neck.

An another with similar bust from officina Q
ROME 27, Q (https://numismatics.org/collection/1944.100.6160)

BTW, where is the "attachments" option?

And good news. I found on OCRE ROME 28 misattributed as ROME 27
ROME 28 (https://numismatics.org/collection/1944.100.6165)

When you post or reply, there is a box that says "click or drag files here to attach" for attachments...then click insert and size-- auto is fine.

If you "quick reply" you will not see the attachments option.

It's really hard to tell, but interesting to see some LDC busts with the rivetted(?) thing on the neck, and some without (and why never on the LC busts?).

The horizontal line on the neck of Peppe's coin is noticeably longer than the straight section on that LDC bust - the end of it aligns between the ear and eye, but I'd have very low confidence in saying which bust type it actually is.

Me too, but the probability of B4 is much higher.
