This is a coin that I sold; but thought it was fairly interesting

After the victory of Vespasian over Judaea, he levied a tax called the fiscus Iudaicus. It was strictly enforced until Nerva relaxed the burden and did away with some of the harsher rules, but did not actually stop the tax; rather only those that professed to be Jewish were taxed.
