Title: Africa with lion and captured bull
Post by: Victor on January 11, 2022, 11:44:26 AM
This reverse is Africa standing left (with elephant trunk headdress), holding standard and tusk; at feet, lion with captured bull; but the lion and bull head are often not so easy to distinguish. I got the first example below because it is a decent depiction...you can pretty much make it out. The second example has a nice lion, but they rotated the bull head, so that the horns are facing the lion. I have included a few others that get pretty hard to make sense of, even knowing what it is supposed to portray.
