Constantine I SOL INVICTO from Lyons
« on: August 15, 2014, 04:24:31 PM »
This coin is not in RIC, it should come after RIC VII Lyons 17. The obverse is nice, but the reverse is a bit messy.

Lech has a few examples on Not in RIC page

Constantine I
A.D. 315- 316
IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG; laureate bust facing left, wearing trabea, eagle-tipped sceptre in right hand.
SOLI INVIC-TO COMITI; Sol stg. left, chlamys across left shoulder, raising right hand, globe in left hand. T/F in fields.
In ex. PLG
RIC VII Lyons--
