Title: Probus VIRTVS PROBI from Siscia with helmet variation
Post by: Victor on February 07, 2020, 11:29:32 AM
Someone pointed out to me that this coin has a helmet type not usually seen on Probus coins. The normal type is an Attic helmet, see the second picture for a typical example. The first coin has a different visor. On probus.net the site owner calls it a pseudo-Attic helmet.
