Title: Constantine vot xxx, rome
Post by: tenbobbit on October 08, 2017, 07:10:09 AM
Hi Victor, hope you are well.
I sadly have not been paying much attention to my small bronzes lately but as often happens something turns up that I have overlooked when I do go back to them.
The coin in question is a Ric vii, 320 Rome with a mintmark that appears on the Gloria Exercitus Ric vii - 327.
Hopefully you can make out the mark from the pictures, just wondering what your thoughts are as I cant find anything with this MM apart from the GE ?

Obverse - constanti-nvsmaxavg. Rosette Diadem, draped & cuirassed
Reverse - constantinimaxavg. vot.xxx in wreath.
Mintmark - RFP
Size 18mm, Weight - 3.65g

Hello Tenbobbit,

Your coin is RIC VII.322 (RFP or RFS), here is another example.
