Title: Constantius Sisicia phoenix with large symbol in right field
Post by: marandnumiz on December 03, 2016, 02:01:53 PM
I have found a ''brother'' half-centenionalis to the one I recently posted here

http://www.lateromanbronzecoinforum.com/index.php/topic,997.msg2804.html#msg2804

but in this case I cannot find a proper RIC reference for Constantius paired with this reverse. This time officina (B) and symbol do match, though. It is quite possible that I have overlooked something. Any assistance would be appreciated!

I don't think you overlooked anything...unless I am overlooking the same thing.

It's strange that RIC rates this type as very common for Constans but it is unlisted for Constantius II.

Congrats

Thank you Victor for your quick feedback. It is interesting that only several months ago I was not even aware that this sub-type exists. It would be great to be able to get all workshops, at least for Constans.
