Title: Crispus BEATA from Trier with Victory on shield
Post by: Victor on May 09, 2021, 10:17:18 AM
The Crispus coin has what I believe is a Victory on the shield [standing on globe? or near shield?]. Though I am not completely sure from the poor pictures (the auction and book!), it doesn't seem to look like any of the examples in Alten & Zschucke's Die romische Munzserie Beata Tranquillitas. I will wait until I get the coin before speculating further though.
