Title: VRBS ROMA, two soldiers, one standard
Post by: Per D on January 13, 2021, 10:04:19 AM
Hi all,

I’m trying to attribute this little coin, without much success as thick patina and corrosion makes it difficult to read the mintmark (it looks like four letters, possibly beginning with “SM”).

I hope the style of the bust, and the circle on the standard can serve as clues for someone more knowledgeable.

Thanks, Victor!

(That must've been a speed record.)
