PS5 sounds great (esp. controller haptic feedback), although my personal gaming experience ended with arcade console missile command c.1980  ;D

Why both? Are there games that only run on or the other ?

Yes, each system has exclusive titles. I usually play more on the Xbox; but the Playstation has better exclusives.
