Title: Constantinopolis from Trier

I bought this coin because it had an odd style and I thought it was a "barb", however when I got it, it was immediately clear it was odd because it was fake. I have lightened the picture to show more detail, but you can see the style is wrong and it even looks flat. The surface and edges of the coin are quite smooth and I believe it was made using a press. There was even an attempt at applying a fake patina- you can see some of the green deposits, especially around the helmet area. It looks like it was made from copper.
