Title: Unusual Crispus bust l.
Post by: seth on October 05, 2013, 09:36:20 AM
Hello,

Does anyone know what kind of bust is this one? And the second question, does this coin look tooled to anyone else, especially on the rev and partially the obv legend.
Thank you.

It is a G9 bust, which is laureate and cuirassed with spear pointing forward and shield on right arm. It is unlisted in RIC. I don't think it is tooled and it's not from Ticinum (as the seller states) but Trier.
