Title: Interesting campgate variation
Post by: tjaart on September 18, 2017, 04:17:51 PM
Hi all,

I missed out on another interesting campgate yesterday. This one has a nice, wave-like decoration in the top layer. So far I've only seen dots in the top layer.

Seems to be a variant of RIC VII Constantinople 27. If anyone has an example such as this, I would be interested in it.

I was the high bidder on this interesting campgate. I will post better pictures when it arrives. This one also has dots...above and below each segment of the curve.

It´s a really nice find.

Looks like more an altar than a campgate to me.

Best regards, Ignacio.
