Post by: Genio popvli romani on August 15, 2012, 09:56:34 AM
Here is an unofficial issue of very good style for Constantine II:

Centenionalis or nummus,  irregular mint, AD335-337.
O/ CONSTANTINVS IVN N C( or O).  Laureate, cuirassed bust right.
R/ GLORIA EXERCITVS, two soldiers standing, spear in outer hand, inner hand resting on shield set on the ground, a standard between them . Mintmark crescentTRS in exergue.
Unlisted with this "hybrid" mintmark Lyon/Trier, see RICVII Trier 586 and RICVII Lyon 276.
16 mm / 1,7 g (th.w. 1.7g - 1/192)

The style on this one is pretty good. Mixed in with official bronzes, it would have probably had no trouble passing as official.
