Title: Wrong coin received
Post by: Victor on July 22, 2016, 09:38:39 AM
The first picture below is a group of coins that I won from eBay. I was interested in the lot because there is a hard to find Constantine I issue -- it is on the lower left.

Constantine I
A.D. 307
FL VAL CONSTANTINVS NOB C; laureate head
VIRTVTI EXERCITVS; Mars advancing r. in military dress, r. holding transverse spear, l. shield and trophy over shoulder; ✶in left field, Δ in right field.
In ex. • SM • TS •
RIC VI Thessalonica 38b

I received the package and my coins were not in it though. Instead there was a coin of  Claudius, which is a terrible cast fake (see second picture below)

I contacted the seller and he gave me the address of the person that has my lot and we are shipping our coins to each other. I hope he knows the Claudius is a fake; but I did not want to tell him until he had mailed my coins.

I actually received the coins. The Constantine is a bit rough, but they are tough to find.
