Post by: Victor on August 08, 2013, 02:32:14 PM

This one just sold for 260 pounds ($404.00). Bust type H is not listed in RIC, but is in Huvelin as number 163. I know of at least four examples with this bust type.

Constantine I
A.D. 312- 313
4.1g
CONSTANTINUS  P AVG;  Helmeted, laureate, and cuirassed bust left, holding spear over shoulder and shield.
FELIC-IT-AS  AVGG N N;  Roma seated left, holding branch and globe, star in left field.
RIC --

It should come after RIC IV London 248
