You must be right about the RIC number...I could not make up my mind if there was a shield and looked for only spear forward. Bastien even illustrates an example that looks a lot like this one. I was a little surprised that the price got so high, but you never know what will happen on eBay.

I was following the sale, the day before it was 11.5€, I was thinking it could be a good deal...But I forgot to bid... and when I saw the price I had no regret. ::)

Here is a lot with an unlisted Diocletian that just sold for $326.42. I haven't looked in any other reference than RIC.

This coin has a workshop that is not listed in RIC. It sold for $233.00, a bit more than I was expecting; but it is a nice example.
