Title: How do you read pdf. files?
Post by: Victor on September 30, 2016, 05:11:41 PM
I hate reading pdf's on a computer screen, especially for longer articles or books. I copy the big articles to a USB drive and take them to a print shop, like Staples, and have them printed and spiral bound.  Below are two examples that turned out nicely, though invariably, the coin pictures are a bit blurry. One is Alföldi's "Festival of Isis" and the other is Voetter's Gerin Catalogue, which at 416 pages is not fun reading/ searching through on a screen.

I also try to print out some of the PDF files. On a desktop screen some PDF's are ok but when working on a laptop, it becomes incredibly annoying.
