Title: Why not to use PVC flips
Post by: Victor on May 04, 2013, 09:46:59 PM
I just got this coin in a flip and thought that I would show the flip because it demonstrates why you should not use PVC flips. The blueish- green rings on the paper insert are the reaction of the flip and the coin. PVC flips are only good for short term use, to be on the safe side you should just use non-PVC flips. I use the SAFLIP brand. You can tell PVC from non PVC easy enough, PVC flips are soft and malleable compared to the much more brittle non-PVC flips.
