Title: Valentinian III, Salvs type with cross
Post by: l.e on November 12, 2013, 05:33:36 PM
Hi! I show you this ae4 of Valentinian III, SALVS REIPVBLICE, mint of Rome. I see this type for Galla Placidia, but for her son I have never seen this type in any auction. How much is it rare? RIC rates this type R4...is it right?

Thanks!

Thank you, Victor. In hand, expecially the obverse, is much better...you can read part of the obverse legend: DN PLA V...
can you confirm that is RIC 2110?
