Title: unlisted I think with rev XI symbol in field
Post by: livingwater on April 25, 2015, 07:52:17 AM
Thought I'd share three of my rather rare coins with reverse XI symbol in field; Constantine I from Siscia, Licinius I from Siscia, Licinius II from Thessalonica.  I think two are unlisted in RIC but the Licinius I coin is likely a RIC VII 138var with a worn or different mint mark?? I have posted a photo of the Constantine I coin in a prior discussion about this symbol.

Licinius II and Constantine I are indeed unlisted in RIC. Both variants already attested, but I would be grateful for measurements.

Licinius I has an unreadable mintmark, so it is impossible to say if there is, for example, an unlisted officina.

Sorry I can't post the width and weight.  This info is on the paper holders but I keep the coins at the bank safety box, not at home.
