Late Roman Bronze Coins

Here is a recent eBay win. This martial bust must reference the Civil War between Constantine and Licinius. It is not in RIC; but a few examples are known--

Roma Numismatics will cease to exist at the end of this month. It's a shame, because they were in my top 3 favorite auction houses. I have shown the coins below already; but here are my last Roma purchases ever. I was a little concerned about these coins as customs in England sent them back to Roma as "prohibited goods" It got sorted though, and Roma shipped them again.

Valentinian I. AD 364-375. Æ (16.5mm, 1.34 g, 9h). Uncertain mint. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Emperor right, holding labarum and Victory on globe. Brown patina, reddish earthen deposits, irregular edge, a couple of flan cracks. Near VF.

I don't think the description is right though, as Valentinian didn't have any coins with Emperor holding victory on globe and a reverse legend of  [] PVBLICE

Here's another type from that issue -- slightly different bust type, but same shield decoration. Very much enjoy learning the additional detail about the dragon banners!
