Title: Maximianus FIDES MILITVM from Siscia
Post by: Victor on June 28, 2018, 11:06:22 AM

The reverse of this coin looks very similar to the common CONCORDIA MILITVM type, but instead of Jupiter presenting to the Emperor, this reverse has two Emperors.

Maximianus
A.D. 285- 286
IMP C M A VAL MAXIMIANVS P F AVG; radiate, draped and cuirassed bust ri, seen from rear.
FIDES MILITVM; Maximianus receiving globe from Diocletian stg. l. holding scepter, Γ between.
RIC V Siscia 583
