« Last post by Victor on February 03, 2024, 08:44:18 AM »If you are bidding in this auction, as I am, you may not be aware but most of the coins have been re-patinated. Notice all the orange desert patinas. If I win any, they will go into acetone soaks.
It is deceptive as it is not mentioned in the descriptions.

This time of peace was the culmination of many events—Constantine defeated Maxentius, Licinius defeated Maximinus, Constantine’s sister married Licinius and cemented peace between the two rulers, and in A.D. 313, Constantine and Licinius signed the Edict of Milan." The title of the page is even "Founder of Peace"

That does comport better with the bare headed obverse bust. Thanks for the discussion and examples.
