Not in RIC and  not in Huvelin....but Lech reports a specimen in a past auction.

The unlisted S|F PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS was also very interesting.

It looks to be a die matcj with the Lech's coin.

Hi Nikko,

could you paste here links to the both eBay auctions, i.e. presented coin and "unlisted S|F PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS".

Thanks in advance

It's not bad at all. The reason i didn't bid was because the obverse has a bit of a weak strike and I did not believe I could win it and then sell it for much more than I originally paid. The reverse is very sharp, though slightly off-center. Many buyers, however, will not pay a premium for a small variation such as unrecorded bust type in an otherwise fairly common reverse type. This coin really only attracts specialists and because of the weak strike, I would not expect it ever to sell for much more than 57€. I would have priced it around 100.00 in my store and expected to not sell it for a while.

Prices for such coins (not eye appeal, not obviously rare type or ruler) are unpredictable. Could be $30, could be $130 or even more. All you need is two passionate collectors.  :) And London mint is quite popular.

Thank you very much for your opinions, i really appreciate your words.

I bid on this coin because i was attracted but its rarity.... it's hard to find a starry london coin unreported in Huvelin's catalogue.
