Honorius VRBS ROMA FELIX from Rome
« on: December 13, 2014, 08:05:06 PM »
This is a nice example of what is typically a poorly struck and often just as poorly engraved coin.

The reverse of this coin translates as "Happy City of Rome" but all was not so well in Rome. In 408, Arcadius died and the Visigoths laid siege to Rome.
