Constantius II fantasy piece
« on: April 17, 2014, 12:20:55 PM »
I saw this one for sale, it is listed as a fantasy piece and should not fool anyone with a bit of experience; but eventually someone less experienced will probably be fooled. Below is the sellers description-

“Roman Empire, Constantius II. 337 - 361 AD. Billon. 20.79mm, 3.08g. Antioch Mint. Rx./ Jupiter seated facing on throne set on a platform inscribed SIC X/SIC XX in two lines. VF and a fantasy piece as this reverse type exists in gold for Licinius I, c. AD 317-9.”
