D N CRISPVS NOB CAES, laureate and cuirassed three-quarter length bust right, holding spear over shoulder and shield on arm / BEATA TRAN-[QVI]LLITAS, globe set on altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX in three lines' above, three stars; STR·. RIC -. Dark brown patina with contrasting earthen deposits in fields, old scratch on obverse beneath patina, minor porosity. Apparently an unrecorded variety with a rare obverse legend and bust type. Good very fine."
