Valens GLORIA ROMANORVM campgate from Trier

here's a rarer campgate...a lot of people were interested as bidding got a little high- it hammered for $720.

Valens, Eastern Roman Empire (AD 364-378). AE2 (22mm, 4.43 gm, 5h). NGC XF★ 5/5 - 3/5. Trier, AD 367-375. D N VALEN-S P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valens right, seen from front / GLORI-A ROMA-NORVM, campgate with six rows, two turrets, no doors; S above, SMTR in exergue. RIC IX 29b.

That is indeed quite rare! If you mind me asking, which auction house was this? I recently saw a couple of Valens campgates go for upwards of a $900... Way above my limits.

Thanks! I completely forgot they sell Roman coins :) I only follow them for a couple of other interests.
