This is a rare medallion that sold not long ago for $275 on eBay. The reverse shows the three Monetae, who represent the types of metals used to make coins- bronze, silver and gold.

Ӕ medallion

CRISPVS NOBIL CAES; laureate bust left, wearing trabea and holding eagle-tipped sceptre.
MONETA VRBIS VESTRAE; three Monetae stg. l.; each holding balance in right hand, cornucopiae on left arm; on the ground, ingots.

I'm always a bit suspicious of any rare coin on eBay, but I think the appearance is just due to poor photography/ lighting. The seller is not known for selling fakes and I could not find any fake examples of this medallion.
