I am still occasionally adding articles...I just haven't updated this topic in a few years.

I just added some articles about Palladas, a fourth-century pagan poet.

"Here we are, the Victories, the laughing maidens, bearing victories to the Christ-loving city. Those who loved the city fashioned us, stamping figures appropriate to the victories."

"Having become Christian, owners of Olympian palaces dwell here unharmed; for the melting pot that produces the life-giving follis will not put them in the fire."

an overview of Palladas--

Wilkinson, Kevin W. “Palladas and the Age of Constantine.” JRS 99 (2009) : 36- 60.

brief synopsis--talking about the stamped figures being a coin, perhaps a Constantinopolis victory on prow--

Wilkinson, Kevin W. “Palladas and the Foundation of Constantinople.” JRS 100 (2010) : 179- 194.

and this article with a different interpretation--

Woods, David. “Palladas, Constantinople, and the Power of Money.” Mnemosyne 68 (2015) : 836- 842.
