FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C; Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left.
PROVIDEN-TIAE CAESS; camp gate with two turrets and star between them, in left field B.

it's a really nice looking coin and I was a bit surprised to find it. It came in a group of 14 coins, but only four coins were shown in the picture for the auction. I decided to gamble and bid...this coin made it worthwhile.

Very nice coin. I am pretty sure that this is the same specimen which was sold eight years ago on Jean Elsen auction for EUR 90.

Officinae A and B could be listed as CONSTANTINOPLE 21 or CONSTANTINOPLE 10.

thanks for the link...the Jean Elsen coin is definitely the same. It is strange that CNG threw it in a group and did not even photo it. Of course, I have noticed that the bigger auction companies sometimes tend to not appreciate Late Roman bronze coins.
