Postumus VICTORIA AVG sestertius from Lugdunum
« on: July 25, 2018, 11:24:42 AM »
Here is a fairly rare type from Lugdunum, unfortunately the reverse is pretty worn. There are different theories on the mint(s) of Postumus, it depends on which source you read and perhaps whether you are English, French or German  :D.

sometimes I just attribute Postumus coins to "uncertain Gallic mint" to avoid the debate.
