Constantine I BEATA from Lyons with imperatorial gestus
« on: February 15, 2017, 04:37:06 PM »
This coin that just sold for $265 seems to not be in RIC VII. It looks like Lyons 160, except the bust is left versus the right facing bust of RIC. Bastien, however, notes that the Vienna example cited by RIC is misdescribed; so, this coin is actually RIC 160. It is listed in Bastien as #115.
