Left facing bust LRB, reverse ruined.
« on: September 20, 2016, 03:14:22 PM »
Hi Victor,
I have an odd little LRB that I cant figure out and was hoping you may be able to shed some light on if possible.
The bust appears to me to be Female but there are no left facing females as far as I am aware.
As always, your help is greatly appreciated.

Obverse - Left facing bust, pearl diadem ?
Reverse - nothing
Weight - 0.73g
Size - 10mm

Your coin is probably unofficial, which might make it difficult to identify the coin it was copying even if it was in better condition. It might be copying a Helena PAX PVBLICA though, as these are sometimes fairly small, around 14mm. It is not unusual to have busts facing the wrong way on unofficial issues. Below is a Helena for comparison.
